New Toll Relief Rebate Scheme

Motorists can now claim a cash rebate with the new Toll Relief Rebate Scheme.

The new rebate scheme allows eligible motorists to apply and receive money back into their bank accounts for tolls they paid from 1 July 2022.

Eligible applicants will receive a 40 per cent rebate for tolls incurred once they spend more than $375 in a year. Rebates will be paid every quarter up to a maximum of $750 per year.

From 24 January 2023, eligible customers can log into their Service NSW account, and link their toll account, before lodging their toll relief rebate claim. Claims will then be paid directly into their nominated bank account within 3 – 8 business days.

The new scheme will also be available for eligible sole trader businesses from 28 February 2023.

For customers already opted in to the M5 South-West Cashback Scheme, any tolls incurred on the M5 South-West are excluded from the new toll relief rebate scheme.
