If you have received a Toll Notice for travel on the Sydney Harbour Bridge or Sydney Harbour Tunnel you can pay your Toll Notice online or by calling us on 1300 883 114 (24/7 self-service payment facility) with your credit card, Visa/MasterCard debit card or tag account details. A Toll Notice transfer fee applies if you use your tag account to pay for your Toll Notice.
Alternatively, you can also pay in person at any Service NSW centre.
If you have received a Toll Notice from the operator of another toll road, please follow the instructions of their payment process on the bottom of the Toll Notice.
You may have received a Toll Notice because your vehicle's licence plate was not listed on your account and because there is a problem with your E-Toll account.
A Toll Notice will be issued if your toll payment and licence plate number could not be successfully linked to your account. To resolve this, you will need to complete the payment details on the Toll Notice by providing your ERider account number and the tag number found in your ERider welcome letter.
If you receive a Toll Notice, please contact us at 13 18 65. We will review your account to identify any potential issues.
Please note that motorcyclists with an ERider do not receive a physical tag. However, you will be given a tag number for reference to assist in paying your Toll Notices.
You may obtain this number from the E-Toll Transaction statement or by logging in to your ERider Account online.
If you receive a Toll Notice and you were not the registered operator of the vehicle at the time of travel, you will need to complete a Statutory Declaration form and send it to the address provided on the Toll Notice. Additional information on how to respond to a Toll Notice can be found on the notice itself.
Please note: If you have an electronic tag account and have registered the licence plate number of the vehicle in question, you will remain responsible for any toll charges billed to your account until you inform E-Toll to remove the licence plate number of the sold vehicle from your account. Make sure that only current vehicle licence plates are listed on your account.
If this happens, you can nominate another person as the driver by completing a Statutory Declaration form, or you can give the Toll Notice to the person who was driving at the time and ask them to pay it. Instructions on how to respond to a Toll Notice are provided on the notice itself.
If you purchased a Pass within 3 days of travelling and received a Toll Notice, you can Lodge an Objection and we will investigate the matter.
To Lodge an Objection, please follow the instructions provided on the Toll Notice.
It is important to submit your objection as soon as you receive the Toll Notice to avoid any additional fees.
If your pass is with a different toll provider and you have received a Toll Notice, please check with that toll provider to understand why your Pass was not applied before lodging an objection.
If you are still being charged for trips, the licence plate number is still associated with your E-Toll account and is being used on toll roads.
As outlined in the Terms and Conditions, you will continue to be responsible for any toll charges until you request the removal of the vehicle from your account.
To remove a vehicle from your E-Toll account, log in to your account at myetoll.transport.nsw.gov.au.
If you would like to dispute the charges for the vehicle you have sold, you will need to provide supporting documentation to E-Toll such as a notice of disposal or proof of sale.
